The Cuyahoga Land Bank is thrilled to announce the selection of three exceptional development partners for its Circle East District initiative to revitalize the residential area at East Cleveland’s Eastern gateway to University Circle.

Solar energy is already on the ground in East Cleveland at the Medical Center Company’s (MCCo) solar field. Soon, even more panels could make their way to a nearby roof.
The Collaboration between Ingenuity Cleveland and AlmaVision: Cultura y Mas for the Dia de Muertos Storytelling Brunch at the Mickey’s Building is a testament to the power of community engagement and cultural inclusivity.
“We have the opportunity to truly transform a community that desperately needs it,” Roberts said. “Our expectation is there will be roughly 200 new homes in a footprint of about 30 acres. The new homes will be complemented by some townhomes as well.”
One of Cleveland’s most renowned institutions of higher learning is lessening the financial burden for prospective students in the community it serves.
“This is a classic example of traditional land banking,” said Cuyahoga Land Bank President Gus Frangos. “We assembled a couple hundred lots in a 38-acre footprint in an area people thought you couldn’t do anything in and we’re going to transform this part of East Cleveland.”
