The Cuyahoga Land Bank has worked intensely for years to help revitalize the City of East Cleveland and the eastern gateway to University Circle that borders it. Most notably, we partnered with the City of East Cleveland to remove blight in the form of vacant and abandoned properties.
Over the last year, our revitalization strategy has focused on assisting homeowners in a select area of the Circle East District with exterior repairs that make homes safer and improve the neighborhood’s overall appearance. The Cuyahoga Land Bank has partnered with eligible homeowners utilizing grant funding to repair roofs, gutters, porches, siding, and stairs.
We are currently working to secure additional funding to expand the program.
